\'Pope\' Paul VI, born as Giovanni Battista Enrico Antonio Maria Montini on 26 September 1897, was elected on June 21, 1963 to his death in 1978. The new pope continued the Second Vatican Council started by Pope John XXIII and promoted false ecumenism and modernism. He announced a renewed worldwide mission to \"spread the message of Christ\". He instituted a new order of the mass, which is highly controversial and is suspected to be a source of liturgical abuse and decay in devotion and membership of the Church. This \'pope\' abolished the oath against modernism, sold off the papal tiara, and made other radical changes which are heavily criticized.
